How long have you been shooting weddings?

6 years and counting! I truly love every aspect of it. The fast-paced nature of weddings days has grown my ability to roll with the punches and make important decisions quickly. I love being invited into some of the most intimate moments on a couples’ day - it’s truly such an honor and I’m so thankful I get to do this for a living.

How many images do you deliver?

This varies depending on how many hours you book. On average, I deliver around 75-100 images per hour from a wedding. For portrait sessions, I deliver at least 60 images.

How long does it take to deliver images?

8 weeks from the date of your wedding, 4 weeks from the date of your portrait session. I know how excited you are to see your images and I always strive to deliver in a timely manner!

Do you work with a second shooter?

It honestly depends! While I feel completely confident shooting a wedding day on my own, especially smaller weddings, sometimes larger weddings make more sense with two photographers. The best way to determine if you should add on a second shooter is to reach out so we can talk through the details of your day together!

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I love to travel and have shot a large percentage of weddings in different cities and states. Although I don’t travel as much as I used to, I still accept a small percentage of travel weddings each year.

Do you offer custom packages?

While I’ve created my packages to be versatile and fit a number of needs, I understand that every wedding is unique and may require something a bit special. If you don’t see a package that fits the elements of your day, I’d love to talk more with you to see if it’s something I can accommodate.

Do you offer prints & albums?

Yes yes yes, I believe so strongly that photographs should move off the screen and into our hands. Especially when making an investment in a wedding photographer (or even just a portrait session) there’s something so different about the experience of holding, touching, and hanging photographs in our home. Each package comes with a print credit to get you started, and also I offer a variety of high-quality albums, prints, and print products that you can order directly through my online store you’ll receive access to once your gallery has been delivered.

How do I receive my images?

You’ll receive your images through an online gallery system. This will give you the ability to download everything at both high-resolution and web-size.

Opinion on First Looks?

They’re great! I love how it calms nerves and gives the couple a chance to breathe and take a moment to themselves before people start arriving. I also love that it allows me to grab most of your portraits in an un-rushed manner before the weddings even starts, which means you can get to your reception sooner and spend more time with family & friends. That being said, I will never push a first look on a couple. I’ve shot numerous weddings where it was really important to the couple that they waited until the ceremony, and it was perfect and special for them. My advice? Do whatever will mean the most to you, and plan your day around that. We can arrange your photographs around that because I’m here for you and it’s my job to help make your day as special as possible.

How do we book you?

If you’re interested in booking, I’d love to grab coffee with you first or have a skype/phone call to get to know each other! When you’re ready to make it official, I require a 50% deposit and signed contract to officially block off your wedding date on my booking calendar. Shoot me an email and let’s talk! You can reach out through the form on the contact page or email hello@miadimare.com.
